Adversity to Leadership: Paul Birch’s Journey
Born into challenging circumstances in the UK, my early life was filled with fear, uncertainty, and anxiety. At the age of nine, I made a powerful decision - I didn’t want to grow up like the adults around me. That realisation ignited my journey of self-discovery, resilience, and leadership.
From crafting picture frames in my mum's cellar at sixteen to pursuing a career in healthcare, I learned that growth comes from embracing fear and taking action. Leading transformative healthcare initiatives in the UK and New Zealand, I discovered my true passion: helping others overcome their own barriers to become authentic, impactful leaders.
